Sprint Crankshaft pulley

It seems these are hard to find. I am after a crankshaft pulley for a Sprint part No. 217587. Can anyone suggest a source please? Rimmers cannot help and Wins sold their last one a couple of weeks back.

Why do people think there is only one Triumph supplier there are many others that are usually cheaper.
Fitchetts, James Paddocks, Mick Dolphin, Spintspeed, Robsport, TDC, Abington parts, Moss. Ive probably missed some but i'm sure someone on here will have spare one anyhoo.

For a start the OP mentioned two suppliers, not one and it is perfectly possible that a new owner would be unaware of other suppliers. Not everyone has owned old British cars for decades and built up a knowledge of such things.

Buy an 1850 one and machine some length off. Also a used 1850 one will do as the seal will be on an unused area.

Thanks guys. I had tried all the usual places before posting, but not Sprintspeed. They do an adapter for a BMW pulley. Anyone had any experience of using this? Jerome’s suggestion is beyond my abilities, but I can probably find someone who can do the machining needed if that is the way to go. Alun, if you can find a serviceable one, I would be most grateful. Anyhow the issue has not gone away, so any help on this would be welcomed.

So far I’ve found one Sprint one which has a register mark on it, see photo’ and 3 x 1850/TR7 type. If you don’t like the look of the Sprint one, I could get a price from our panel fabricator for turning a longer one down as he bought Ted Middleton’s lathe from his step daughter…or I may find better Sprint items when I look further than the box in my kitchen…

Part is needed to get us around RBRR, so not much time to source a solution. The current pulley has slipped and it has only just come to light. I have just posted on the CT RBRR thread to see if anyone has one tucked away. Thanks for your help so far. Fingers crossed something pops up soon. Machining will be our last resort if things don’t come together shortly.
