Friend of mine has one on his car, an Autoplas one. I fitted it ... There's a central rod that goes top to bottom, and tucks under the screen rubber. It has two points that the centre of the Louvre clips over. Then there's a series of shallow step shaped clips that push in under the rubber all the way round to retain it in position. It's all fairly crude.

I dont know how handy you are, but look on youtube Matt Green he made a louver for his 6R4 Metro,it mite give you some ideas

The central bar keeps the whole thing rigid, otherwise the fairly thin plastic is quite wobbly and insecure in high winds. The fittings on mine are very brittle and have been superglued on more than one occasion, so I'll be looking to have them replicated in metal at some point.
