What's the name of the type of circular clip on the two ends of the wire link between the choke lever arm and the main jet of the none-waxstat carb?

Also, does anybody know what size of clip I want, Steve?

Ah yes, find them as Starlock washers at Spalding Fasteners and Screw City. But do I want 3 or 3.2mm on the carb link? I measured it as 3.15mm, so I ain't sure which.

Get the smaller size, you might need a bit more force to get it on, but that's better than having it too big and fall off!

I've got the 3mms coming tomorrow and the 3.2s by Sat, I think. And you ne'er know, I mightn't bugger the olduns.

Sat looks a good day to do the jets - they are up at the step to get idle mixture right, when running it's a fortnight (no I checked the float levels are okay). And when set so the car runs right, the plugs foul on idle.

Still waiting for the new needles: they're BDMs, which are nearly the same as, only a tiny bit richer in the mid-range than, BBTs, but were like 1/3rd the price. And I've a set of weaker BDQs to put in pro temps. I used BDMs in ATR 716V with K&Ns. So I'm happy they'll be close enough. I'll see which are best between the BDMs and the BDQs. But erring to the rich (would the opposite be airing to the weak?) seems good if I'm looking to being able to run on 95 RON.
