Copper Washer Dims.
Can anyone give me the dimensions of the copper washer used for the 'J' type overdrive solenoid please (NKC108)? I believe it's 3/4" ID.

Re: Copper Washer Dims.
That's interesting Richard. As you know I have rebuilt several overdrives over the years (Sprint) but they all had copper washers on them. I don't recall ever seeing one with a crush washer.

They used to be known as Dowty seals. used quite often in the aircraft industry.Richard the old one wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 7:53 pm I have seen a copper washer used but the correct part is a NKC108 which is a crush washer which I believe is specifically designed to withstand hydraulic pressure as it will need to stop approx 400psi leaking when O/D is selected.
