ive never seen one that connect to hard pipe..only to hose.....unless you go to machine shop with drawings so they can make a one-off for you

Dave,
Yes, you can get an adapter with an olive to 5/16" (and other sizes), then use a female AN fitting onto it.

This company on E bay are very good to deal with.

as posted the compression one side and dash ,jic the other. -8 is a bit big and I would say -6 is plenty for 8mm pipe.

Somewhere in my box fittings I have another variant of Jic6 to metal hose, I think its a Russel fitting, its a rubber compression fitting !! obviously for low pressure applications, I think theres a reason its still in my box offittigs......... Im brave... not stupid.....Pics to follow if I can find the fitting.

Found the fitting.....it made by "EARLS" indeed it is a rubber compression fitting. not dissimilar to a electrical gland, a bit more research says its for Ally Fuel lines, so probably good for copper too

Dave,
No. I haven't got round to the fuel lines yet, I am still doing the turbo oil and coolant lines. I have got a pump and filter that I am going to mount under the boot floor, so I will take a look at those.

I've got my fuel pump mounted inside the Dolomite tank and the filter under the boot floor, I've been using PTFE An fittings but you don't have as much flexibly on the fittings as the fast flow type, looks like i may have to alter a bit of mine
