curios items

#1 Post by 73Iceblue »

Hello every one

recently I by a bunch of parts for a Triumph Dolomite here in Portugal.

I found 2 items that I couldn't place any where on Dolly ? See fotos.

Perhaps some one may help me to figure out what they are!!

Look like they could be stone guards to fit to the wing/arch behind the wheels to protect against stone chips.

Look home made to me, no idea where they fit other than the nearest dustbin.

What size are they?

They resemble the 'chrome' caps that some convertibles have to close off the top of the B posts, but if they are big enough to be stone guards then they'd be too big for that!
