Sprint in BBC Top Gear

#1 Post by Hans ten Broeke »

Have anyone also seen this green Sprint last night in top gear ?
These wankers tried to destroy 3 BL cars on a test track, filling the cars up til the roof with water was one thing.
These D heads where wearing diving suits to prevent them to get wet, go figure!!
The Sprint did ok but was beaten by a Princes, and the SD1 could not be filled up at all.

Did not see the start of the program so don't know what else they did with the cars.

That over the top Clarkson had to been lay ed of years ago, that program died for me when the softy (forgot his name but what a brilliant driver especially side ways) left.

The rest of it wasn't quite so bad. You should be able to find it on YouTube by now.

Thats the one.

By the way talking about F3, is there now a F3 specialist in this forum who could answer a few questions.
Tried some time ago but no one seems to know.
For example what team did use my F3 engine, and the origin of some even for me rare " proto type" parts like a cast dry sump, solide narow rocker, and more??
If you think you know just let me know than I can show pictures and details.

I think it may have been Swindon. I spoke to Brett Riley years ago and he said that they prepaired the Sprint engines for their cars (his and Mansells)
