Trackdays

#1 Post by 2F45T4U »

I want to do a few before I go to the Nurburgring :)

What tracks are beginer friendly which are quite cheap? Castle Combe and Pembrey (both closeish and look simple enough, I may regret saying that) seem to have released when there doing Bike track days but not Car trackdays..... Is there any reason for this?

Adam I cannot recommend any where better than these people.
They are friendly and helpful let us know when you are going and if you like we will join you (Dianes Christmas present is a drive in an Aston Martin DB9 at one of their track days).

As I have said before I think Bedford autodrome is perfect forr your first trackday as it is extremely hard to hit anything so allows you eplore the limits more.

Right I'll get some cash in my account and will book a track day at Bedford Autodrome for February the 2nd, £149, open pit lane :D Anyone else coming?

Must buy myself a helmet :D

Open pit lane I'm guessing means that people are driving all day (except for lunch) and I can sit in the pit lane and go out when I feel like?

yes there is just a limit on max no of cars on track at any one time. Much better than sessioned, just make sure you let everything cool down properly. Which version of the track is that and whats the db limit for that one.

depends who you are booking it through, if you use some one like easy track they tell you how many spaces are left on their website.
