Hello
Has anyone here taken and training courses for car restoration and repair for beginners? What did you think. Were they any good?
I think Leeds College of Technology does some 5-day courses. I cant find the issue of PC where I saw that advertised.
Anyway.... I live in Leeds, would like to be a bit more handy with my Dolomite and am looking for a training course near me.

I tried getting onto a restoration course after completing a 3 year course in crash Body repair at tile hill college in coventry..
There answer was.....im to young at 19 and theres no jobs out there!!
The other day a local bodyshop was asking for a experienced classic car body restorer..........to say i was annoyed was an understatment!!
From what i saw whilst i was there the course looked fantastic and looked to be worth every penny it costs to do it!!
Plus you could work on your own car

Till Hill College? No way, was there last year in the machine shops building a small single cylinder air motor.....got it to run to 1820RPM, then ran out of time to modify it.......reckon 3000RPM+ was well within reach and had plans for a boxer as well, would have been sweet.
The guys working there were great, really knew their stuff.
Anyway, random post over
