How many people would have fitted that and not noticed, I wonder ?? Look forward to an answer as to wether the block or the adaptor is right.<br>
I am also converting my 1850 at the next oil change, so will watch with interest.<br>

How about Billing Aquadrome at Northampton ? advertises itself as "The Seaside without the sea" permanent fun fair, lakes, waterskiing, jetskis, shops etc. 270 acres of camping/caravan and events fields. and all this about 4 miles from J15 of M1. The events fields are already used by ford cortina ...

You mention metal on revolving metal ? While under the car check along prop shaft for brake pipes/fuel pipes coming adrift, also chock wheels and check handbrake cables arent flapping when handbrake is off. They are quite close to prop and just could be adrift and touching. I know its a long shot ...

How about Billing Aquadrome at Northampton.<br>
Caravans, funfair, plenty to do, acres of space which is regularly used by American Street Vans, Ford owners, Rover owners, etc. <br>
Also nice and central, about 3 miles from j15 M1.<br>
