Had the final bit of welding done to my sprint today, including offside inner arch and area around the pedals, my man used smifter's pedal to bulkhead idea which seems to have worked well, liberal coating of rust inhibitor and underseal should ensure no future occurance.<br>

Welding
You will always find at least 3 times as much work is required as you first think, just had the cills done on my Sprint and work was also required to the inner front arch, A post and front scuttle panel. If you cant do it yourself I think you are better trying to find a local independent guy who is ...

Spotted an ad in this months CLASSICS, Dolly Sprint for £450 alledgedly with a slippy diff. Hope this is not seen as advertising as I have no vested interest but I know how highly you guys value such an item.<br>

The Honeysuckle Sprint went to the body shop today, hope to have it back in a couple of weeks, then I just need to refit the interior and trim get it mot'd, if I get it all done in time and you still have a space....I'll have it<br>

A different kind of Reg...
I wont ask were that monicker came from Alun, Reg is a potential new member from Surrey and he's got a bargain. I think we should say something nice about Russet too make him feel welcome, besides my new(!) Sprint is Sandglow and that really is an awful colour.....<br>

I'm sure he only put it on their to p on my fireworks, I did manage to sell the Russet Sprint tonight, although it did'nt make the reserve on ebay, got plenty of interest from it and one of those lucky callers is now the proud owner (enjoy it Reg).....
