I think i read that someone had ordered their sprint from the factory with air con as an extra. Maybe it would be the same unit as the Stag?<br>

I'm sure that fitting the V8 is much more difficult (as you say) but I don't think that doing an a/c retro fit is for the faint hearted! Especially if ...

Thanks for the info. I've got the alternator of the spare 1300 which was easy enough.<br>

However, it appears that the only way to change it on the 1850 is to remove the radiatior assembly and drain cooling system..etc<br>

After taking my dolomite 1850 out of the garage for its first drive this year, I noticed that the voltmeter was reading just 11volts. Sounds like it could be the head gasket to me...

Auto Glym Vinyl Cleaner did a surprisingly good job of polishing my 'black bits'. 3 coats and it was like new.<br>
