Whats it worth?

#1 Post by 2F45T4U » Mon Oct 24, 2005 3:33 pm

Before I waste my hard earned all ready spent cash on listing items on ebay that might not sell, what are all these likely to be worth?

4 russet brown dolly 1300 doors, with glass and skins (one has window winder removed)

1 russet brown bonnet, no rust, well there wasnt last time I saw it

1300 back axle, with brakes

1300 engine, 70,000 miles, no carbs, inlet manifold or fuel pump

1300 gear box off above engine

prop shaft

rear bumper, decent nik

rear heated wind screen. no scratches

1300 dash board

roof insulation

chrome strips from around rear wind screen

front suspension parts and anti roll bar

front and rear lights

I know I may need some of that stuff in the future but its costing me £22 a month to rent the garage there in. Lets say I needed to replace a door in 6 months time. I could probably pick one up for £20 but it would cost me £135 to store the ones I got at the moment for that length of time. Time to ditch the garage me thinks

Cheers, Adam

Doors - tenner each if you get a buyer.
Bonnet same
Engine 25-50 quid depending on who's blown up a spit.
Box - non o/d tenner. Virtually worthless.
Axle...4.11 diff....mmm tener if your lucky. Worth more stripped.. Case is scrap.
Small trim stuff - worth more to you. Keep it.
Bumper -25 quid...but keep it.
Weigh in the sub frame, keep the disks, callipers and ball joints. They are hens teeth ATM
Sarah would of had the same treatment as the 1300. In an oil sodden garage whilst coverd in old carpets <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol">

If I could weld (and had some cash) it would be turned in to one bad ass kit car!

This time last year if somebody gave me an engine attatched to gear box with prop shaft, axle and front suspension I would of been the happiest boy around!

TBH its cos I didnt know what money was then <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... tongue.gif ALT=":b">
