weight saving

#2 Post by george » Wed May 24, 2006 6:24 pm

adams boot is hardly empty though welder, tools ,spare wheel, sweets and chocolate bars (those add weight but it takes a few days to get to the lower panels) and when he takes the rear seat out he fills it with engines !!!!
Maybe he's trying to lower his centre of gravity

Could this be why the tiny chavs drive around with the front seats so far reclined so they can barely see over the wheel?

I'm still beating the carpet here from the respondent who comments that his sister used to have one of these and it didn't have enough poke to pull a jews foreskin back.

Absolutely marvellous. Thanks Martin, you have made my really crappy day bearable again.
We'll draw a veil over what on earth you were doing on here in the first place....

Don't forget to polish yer car first. (I think the Williams F1 polish is the fastest).

I wasn't browsing that forum Alun, someone put it on the S2K forum. The bit about lying the seats flat to reduce weight just cracked me up.

Reduced weight?

I am surprised he didn't mention emptying his bowels before he drives it - to get rid of a few more pounds of crap!

Quote of mine from one of the other threads: -

Quote:
like riding a horse uphill; you have to lean forward to transfer the weight from the back to give the horse a helping hand.

Maybe someone should suggest it to this fellow? Aerodynamically, it should surely help his CHAV car travel faster?
small brain

#11 Post by SprintMWU773V » Thu May 25, 2006 12:14 pm

Anyone who does this to a Corsa is an idiot.

1) It's a rubbish car
2) Should save his money and buy a better car
3) Is wasting his money on Optimax as there is no knock sensor to adjust the timing!
4) The tyre pressure quoted will in fact reduce grip as it will cause the tyre to run on the centre of the tyre and wear out quickly.
5) This will also make the steering even nastier than it already is.
6) Will significantly reduce resale value no matter how much you spend.
7)Adding silly body kits will ADD weight!

Still I suppose having a small brain will save some weight and also the lighter wallet from all the mods will also save a 10th or none "On the track".

Anyone who has ever driven a Corsa 1.2 will realise it is slow no matter what you do to it.
The bit that bothers me is that he goes by the name police_driver. I thought there was an IQ test to get in the police farce, if this brainiac passed the cutoff must be single digits.

Still lmao
Oi Mart!

I thought my no non-sense approach to making my car faster was a good one... Put in a bigger engine

I also drive round with no more than £10 of petrol in my car but thats cos I'm a cheap skate...
