Hi Susie,

Mr. Ebay Muppet has responded. He says that TNT have picked up the bumper and he will be supplying the tracking number asap. He also apologised.

He says his business address is in Hilltop, West Bromwich not Sedgley Road (might be his home address). I also threatened him with small claims court if he failed to sort this out.

What a plonker. Why do people have to make something so straightforward so bloody difficult? I wouldn't dream of doing this sort of thing. Pathetic!

Anyway, lets see what happens. He will be getting a right shedload of negative feedback and I don't care if he retaliates.

Susie, once again, many, many thanks for taking the time and effort to help a 'stranger' out. I can't express fully how grateful I am. It's brilliant that in this day and age there are still people who are willing to go above and beyond. I know I've said it before but if I can ever do anything to help out then just ask.

Try not to be too disappointed that you can't flex your muscles and act all threatening today, he might still need a 'visit' after all<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">

Kindest regards and hope you have great weekend.

Ken

Ken

I was soooooooo looking forward to going around. Ok, so I may not have been able to knock 10 bells out of him but I am pretty confident I could have argued him to death!<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /laugh.gif ALT=":lol">

Just FYI, West Bromwich is completely in the opposite direction to Woodsetton. Keep on at him Ken until he provides a tracking number or, contact TNT in Birmingham (which I think is the nearest depot) on 0121 359 3400 to see if they are prepared to tell you if a package is en-route to where you are. If you explain the situation to them, I would hope they will play ball. The London (City) depot's number is 020 7231 0455, I am guessing that is the closest to you.

I am sure if I needed help with something, the good people on here would offer, in fact, many have already helped with advice etc. We're a pretty nice bunch here aren't we? Lovely to belong to such a nice club.

You have a great weekend too and hope your parcel turns up really soon.
haha! He rang this morning whilst I was at the gym and left the tracking number. He also left the number for TNT saying that they would confirm the problem with collection caused by snow. Hmm.

This bumper had better be decent. Problem hopefully sorted. Should be interesting feedback lol+++
Ken I know you are a bit frustrated but it has been serioulsy crap weather and it didnt seem like a lot of money for a jep bumper. Did he already have it off the car? Was he stuck where the bumper wasnt? Did he have PC problems? Life has a habit of getting in the way and some couriers are serioulsy crap at turning up and collecting big car bits...

I got -ve feedback once cos I went on holiday and didnt complete a sale after 5 days for a tenner....Thanks mate I thought.

I'd give the guy the benefit of the doubt until the bumper turns up...after all he may buy a dolomite one day.
Point taken Jonners but I doubt he's a potential Dolly purchaser. I said to him that I would after all this leave fair feedback. Although I did leave a good few messages on his mobile with my own number supplied and he used it to phone me on Saturday morning... I'll see what the bumper is like.
Hiya All. Nearing the end of the saga - almost. TNT tried to deliver at 3pm, but guess what! We were all at work. So they will deliver on Saturday.
Very interesting to know that you can only leave feedback 90 days after...

I hate such ebay problems... last time I had one of these such problems was with terryman2... in the end I had to get my bank to provide him with a photocopy of the cheque I'd sent him, proving it had been cashed.

Why do these people make this so hard?

Sounds like you've got it sorted though - hope the bumper's a good'un <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">

Well, all finished now. Got the bumper yesterday. It's in fair condition. Amazing when you considered how he packaged it. One layer of thin bubble wrap over the ends and a bit in the middle. Crap.

I left neutral feedback, accurate and to the point. No abuse, just factual. He'll probably retaliate with negative but hey, who cares. It's only eBay.

Thanks for all of the offers of help. Great bunch of folk<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">
