This has to be funny money for what is essentailly a switch. The switch is the only thing that goes wrong - u can refurbish the rest of the knob.
Re: .
They do go for lots. I'm after an OD lever and knob for my GT6. Last weekend one went for £31 for the lever and another £31 for the knob. Yikes. Anyone got an 1850 one they want to sell me for sensible money? Subject to someone confirming that '68 GT6 is the same as early 1850.
OD gear lever
Why do people need the whole lever/knob/electrics?

Only the switch fails and that can be sourced (albeit at inflated price). Refurbish the rest of what you have.
Re: OD gear lever
Mostly for converting to OD. Or less commonly, as is my case, because I don't like the original stalk switch and like the dash switch a PO has fitted even less.
