Normally heat would help but not much help when you can't start it. What are you using ? If it is a T bar type with universal joint these are not much cop. Use a deep socket with an extension and a ratchet and they should release. Did you do them up too tight last time?
If its because they have undone and you just can't reach them an upturned HT lead boot is a perfect tool for extracting them, or a bit of rubber tube half pushed over a screwdriver of appropriate shank size.
Plugs are taper seated and should only be done up to 8lbft...ie bugger all!

Cheers men, i can undo them but cant seem to take em out. Like the rubber tube idea, will try that. Must say the standard plug spanner for the sprint is quite crap

one of them spring loaded pick up tool things that are a couple of quid at any market...
But a length of stiff rubber or some long needle nose pliers also do the job.
The decent plug spanners have a rubber inset to grip the plug for you but mine has long since succombed to the ravages of time..
Most plug sockets have a rubber insert for exaclty this reason.

Not drinking 'till Monday? Bizarre behavior for a student
