Re: Triumph & MG Spares Day

Good morning all,

Thank you for the replies.

I wasn't aware it hadn't happened for the past couple of years, so will certainly have a trip up.

I'm not really after anything in particular, but I am a bit of a hoarder, so will take my little van up "just in case" !

Thank you,

Triumph & MG Spares Day

Hi all,

Just wondering if many of you have been to the Triumph Spares Day in the past few years ?

To cut things short, what's it like

Just asking as I'm down in Southampton. I've been to the recent Beaulieu Jumbles and there seems to be more & more of a higher % of Burger & Food Stalls !

It's ...

Green Dolly in Fareham

Spotted along Osbourne Rd & Osbourne Rd South at around 2pm today.

Nice looking Green Dolly with white spotlight covers & a square sticker on a door.

Didn't get a proper good look due to traffic, but came up behind me fairly sharp ish ! (Was in the Banana Seat Leon)

Re: 1300 Halogen Bulbs

Thanks all for the additional info,

The Metro Headlamps I plan to install have the H4 bulb as standard, so I'm confident they will be ok for compatibility - and since I plan, at some point when it's eventually ready, to use her as a summer "daily" I will add relays whilst I'm fiddling about (just ...

Re: 1300 Halogen Bulbs

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the detailed reply.

I had a feeling that may be the case with the single headlamp set up, and the standard wiring should be OK.
The reflective ls on my lights are looking a little corroded, so I managed to get some early Metro headlights on eBay, which I believe can be fettled ...

1300 Halogen Bulbs

Evening all,

I'm going to be looking at upgrading the headlamps on my 1300 to the H4 Halogen bulbs in the near future.
I have done a search on the forum and all I could find was the procedure to upgrade the HL / Twin Headlamp setup.

So, a quick question is the process the same and it's best to ...

Re: 1300 Door Cards + Wood Cappings

Cheers for the info xvivalve,

Had a feeling that maybe the case, but didn't wanna start cutting them without checking !

My interior is Beige, but I'm thinking of upgrading to the Rover seats at some point so may well dye mine black.
What kinda price did you have in mind (& willing to post) just ...

1300 Door Cards + Wood Cappings

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has fitted wooden door cappings to their cars that didn't have them from factory ?

Will I need the door cards to match, or is a case of trimming down my existing ones ?

Thanks in advance,

Triumph Passport

Hello everyone,

Just been going through some old paperwork for my Dolly & found a Triumph Service Passport for UJL141S. A Green 1300 by the looks of things.

Not sure how it got amongst my paperwork 🀣

I've done the usual online MOT/Tax checks and it doesn't look promising, but just wondered if ...
