My old Sprint that I sold 23 years ago is still on the road and has turned up on this website!
I've tried to log in to e-mail the owner, but have failed. The current owner is obviously on-line. Anyone on here?
Mark.

Tunnel is the same, box is completely different. Stag cross shaft is underneath the input shaft, different length and type input shaft, bigger prop flange etc. You can fit a T2000/2500 box, but the bearings are smaller and it they cant over at a different angle when fitted. A stag box has an LD ...

Some would say too many warning lights. Mk1 Stags had a high engine temperature waning light. BL issued dealers with a service bulletin to snip the wire off the sender!
Intermittant wipers would have been more use than seat belt warning and low fuel lights. - or did BL expect the fuel gauge to pack ...

Anyone on here own it?

Have you checked the fuel delivery to the carbs at idle? One of the float needle valves sticking?

As the old saying goes, 90% of problems with SUs are electrical.

Have you checked the resistance of the LT path from the coil 'earth' lead, through the points, throught the base plate, via the earth ...
