Re: Spint wheel

Would it not be better to describe the condition of the wheel and either state the asking price or invite offers?

Re: Latham F2

I'm having a bespoke hood made for my Spitfire by Cliff the trimmer (Car SOS?) in the next couple of weeks or so. If it's made to the same standard as every other piece of work he's done, it will be perfect if not better.

That's the case for most of our events, they're very informal with no strict start and finish times.

Re: Chrome side strip clips

If you have a look at this site https://www.bresco.com/ you will probably find everything that you need. Better still, if you telephone Howard, who runs Bresco you will find him to be extremely helpful. The phone number is 01509 610834. He will advise you on all the clips you need and post them to ...

Re: Door trim clips

I now have a definitive answer! The trim at the top of the door uses 76670P (Bresco part number) and the trim along the base of the C post uses 72650P. The two types are interchangeable . As Bresco supply the latter in bags of 30, that's what I'll be using. Howard at Bresco was extremely helpful ...

Re: Door trim clips

Interestingly, using that part number, these came up on the Chris Witor site; https://www.chriswitor.com/proddetail.php?prod=617243A
They look much more like the ones on my car.

Re: Door trim clips

Hi Andy.

I think they are part number: 617243
Quite a small square clip, rather than the boomerang shaped version for the lower trim.

Best wishes

Matt.

Thanks Matt. I might have to take a gamble on ...

I couldn't spot anything similar, it may be the case that my (later model) car had different ones to those shown in the parts books, or more likely that they had been replaced with non-standard items at some point.

Door trim clips

Not too often that I ask for help, but this one has me baffled! I need some plastic clips to hold the chrome strip on at the top of the door skins, the strip above the door handle. Can anyone help identify the part number? I note that there are a few suppliers of trim clips, Bresco being one that ...

Re: Northern Dolly Day 2025 Sun 8th June

The event is open to both Club members and non-members. There is no booking required, just turn up on the day. However, it would be helpful if you could let Steve know that you are planning to attend so that he can let the venue know how many cars to expect. Either let him know using the "contact ...
