Hi, I have just finished fitting my Tracker Jack conversion and very pleased with the results.
I have just road tested the Sprint and I can already see the improvement of the conversion and that's without the pads bedded
it yet. I still need to do further work on the rear brakes which will improve ...

Sprint tyres
A few years ago I was at a Dolomite/Sprint meet and was looking at what tyres people were fitting.
I spotted a nice sprint that had Dunlop Street Response tyres fitted, They looked very good to be honest.
Anyway Can anybody recommend any other brands which I may consider.
Cheers in advance for any ...

Re: Front Arch Liners
Hi, Sorry for late reply. I have these front Aluminium wing liners on my Sprint. I fitted them when I re shelled my Sprint back in 1983.
I have the invoice somewhere but I believe they were called Lokari or something very similar.
Yes they have done a good job protecting the wings but if I remember ...

Re: Aerial Position
Hi, My wing aerial was filled years ago but I can just see the outline.
I have just measured it to the centre of the hole and yes Steve is correct it's oval.
So my measurements to the centre are 1 1/4 " down from top wing curve and 9" from door edge.
hope this helps. Cheers gary.

Heater blower rubber elbow gaiter clip.
Hi all, is it possible that someone has got a spare correct clip/band for the
heater blower (i believe demister) rubber 90 degree elbow. Maybe part no cc600544.
I've just had the heater blower casing powder coated and lost one.
I don't fancy fitting a non std clip/band.
Thank you and please PM me ...

heater motor and box
Hi All,
I'm going through the Sprint and the next job is getting the heater motor re painter or powder coated.
Could some kind member take some pictures so I can get the correct decals and also see the positions on units
Also best place to buy replacements.
Thank you Gary.

Re: Door cap veneers
Hi all, I've been reading the posts with much interest.
Many years ago (25 at least) while at work I stripped the varnish of my door trims. (this set was from a 76 sprint)
During this process it was clear the veneer was damaged so decided to sand it off.
I think the veneer was only on the side face ...

Door Hinges and Door seals
Hi, I've just been back looking at many previous posts but still unsure of the answer.
Can the door hinges be overhauled, Do they have roll pins fitted or are they special pins you have to get.
Also I need to have a better look at my rear hinges as I do not remember them being handed but its been ...

Re: Sprint Propshaft thoughts
Today I found my sprint manual and as you say very little said on the centre bearing/cv joint other than changing the U/J s.
I'm going to fit new U/j s in the original prop and see what its like on the road.
I still have the low mileage auto prop and will leave that alone at the moment. I may sell ...

Sprint Propshaft thoughts
Hi All,
I'm back working on my sprint but I need some advice on the Propshaft.
1) How does the majority of you split the Prop to replace the centre bearing.
2) Has anybody mixed front and rear sections before. IE fitted a manual front to a rear auto section.
I have a good low mileage Auto sprint ...

Re: Wind roar round front doors
Hi, I re shelled my sprint many years ago with a new shell and recently asked roughly what year the body shell could be.
The opinion was that it probably was a late shell and I've heard comments of Spanish steel used.
I'm not sure if this is correct but I've had corrosion issues like many.
Ok lets ...
