Re: Project THJ (Magenta Sprint)

Mart,

I believe you sold it to another Martin only kept it a year or so then sold to the chap I bought it from.

I did about 80 miles last night and it was really struggling with the misfire by the time I got home.

I'll use my limited abilities over the weekend to have a look a what I can ...

Re: Round Britain Reliability Run - October 1/3 2021

I ran my 2000 saloon this time running alongside the Sprints of Tom & Nathan and Mark & Jo McLean.

No issues getting fuel for most of the weekend. At one smaller garage in Scotland, we topped up 1/2 tank with E10 for a long stretch and ran it as low as possible then brimmed again with E5 at the ...

Re: Front parcel shelf

I have a lower parcel shelf that has never been fitted. I've kept it for years just in case but am now clearing all of my Dolomite spares.

It isn't perfect as it hadn't been stored great before I got it.

Let me have an email address and I will send you some pictures

Re: Non-Dolomites

The moderns consist of

2018 Volvo XC60 - Just does everything well if a bit boring
2017 BMW 218d Active Tourer - Because cheaper on lease than a Fiat 500X
2018 VW Transporter Kombi - Work van / family bus

The Sprint and 1850 are also joined by

1977 Triumph TR7

Re: RBRR info?

I'll be going for it again.

Car to be confirmed but will probably leave the Sprint at home this time.

I have the 1850 formally of Ian sprint95m and a recently purchased TR7 to choose from as alternatives. I haven't done more than a few miles in each yet but the TR7 does have a very big boot and ...

Re: JOKE OF THE DAY

I went to the gym today and spotted a hole in my trainer that was big enough to get my finger in.

Unfortunately, she wasn’t amused and now I’ve got to go to court next Thursday.

Re: RLH - 1973 Dolomite 1850 Auto

It lived with me for a while although only as a guest.

I collected for David from ????? and delivered it to Bristol when he sold it. As soon as we pushed it into the garage of the old gent in Bristol, I kind of knew that it would never get restored by him however good his intentions were.

It wasn't on our membership list in 2012 though so not sure where it went.
