If we are to put on a display at this event (possibly "Midlands Dolly Day") we need to know approximate numbers so that we can book a club stand area. If you are thinking of attending, could you let us know please?

Count me in.

One thing can it be asked that the stand is located close to the DAF club stand as both Spunkymonkey and I are likely to have cars available to both stands.

p.s. I'll sort my membership out next week

I am happy to organise this event as Staffordshire area rep but would need some co-operation and attendence details from some other local members. This event can be a Midlands Dolly day if we wish but we'd need to ensure that we have a good turnout for the display. I should be able to organise some stand materials etc but will need cars.

Yeses or no's sooner rather than later so we can decide whether to go ahead.

Seeing as it seems there wasn't enough interest for this to be an organised TDC event, Sheila will be hanging round with the Dafs again. If any of the local Triumph owners make it as individuals (free entry and no booking required - just turn up on the day before the 11am cut-off) or even spectators, look forward to hunting you out :)

Well, all I can say is you guys missed another good one over the weekend. Pics will follow but we've only just got back and I'm not in any state to sort them right now.

Sheila turned in another very respectable towing performance at a steady-ish 50mph (where the mountain roads allowed) and 35 mpg over the trip. By holding Sian's speed down from her usual 65mph+ the Daf managed 48mpg which I thought was outstanding for one of those old, polluting, eco-unfriendly things that we all love so much
