I walked into the office at the same time as the boss yesterday " Does that car of yours have a heater, Tony ? " he asked.
And this is one of the Captains of Industry !

Thaw. No, wait, freeze again. No, thaw, oh, sorry; freezing again.

I've trained some icicles down the front of my house by dropping threads from the gutter and pinning the other ends of them to the ground below. :D

Awwww rats! I broke my lawnmower. Don't suppose it was intended to be fitted with a studded roller and used as a snow blower though eh? :(

Driving down to Spain on Monday for a week so best get boxing everything up.

Do you think Santa would lend me a couple Elves for a few days?

I'd be happy to swap some of your snow for some of our heat !!! 39.9 Celsius yesterday!! I have lived here for 35 years and still have not gotten used to the heat!

Next plan for the red Daf's stuck piston - one cheap grease gun, one old spark plug to make an adapter from and a bottle of gear oil 8)

So much for £4.50 Amtek grease guns

Next plan is to work out a better pump or may just connect up my pressure washer and use water. 1400 psi acting on an 8.8 square inch piston = about 5.5tonnes pressure by my reckoning which should move something! Not entirely sure the head studs (or their threads in the alloy casing) would stand it though............
