A little update ,,
Have been fitting the gartrac 4 link body box's and axle brkts ,
I wasn't happy with the gartrac box's as i want to run the shocks off the top of them and i want to run
my axle location off both of them
Gartrac one not wide enough
Image
my mock up
Image
few bits cut
Image
mine against the gartrac
Image
on the axle with a shock mounted

Tacked on
Image
and all lined up perfect 2 deg nose down on the diff 8)

Gartrac have made my 4 link bars i had them made at 565mm eye to eye,
I have also fitted the body box's as far out as possible,(no piccys as yet ,
My  is if you hold a bar out in front of you shoulder width apart its very stable when some one grabs
it at the ends unlike when holding it more central ,,

Inbetween decorating today i managed to get one of the 4 link brkts welded in and put a body brace in
The edge of the brace will tie in with the inside brace hopefully tommorow if i finish papering :?

Thats ok :D
Im going to try this link it may work it may be a pile of scrap metal :?: who knows
The thing with the watts link is as you lower the car the roll center goes UP,
With the mumford link its a bit different
Did a bit more today
Made a couple of towers for one of the 4 link brackets
This ties in with the box under the car,
Just got to do the other side tommorow now,, more sunburn :suntan:

That line of welding is just art.

That is indeed a very pretty weld. But then the general standard of the work as well as the thought and care going into it is extraordinarily high. I'd go so far as to say that the boundaries really are being pushed aside by this whole, amazing build. 8)

Thanks for the comments guys,
One bit of advice which i got told from an old chap very good welder ! is
Get some decent welding wire im using murex dont use the cheap machine mart stuff :snivel:
i also take the wire out of the mig when not using it and put it in the airing cupboard, as it does get just a
little bit of dampness on it and maybe some contamination, no problem this weather though, !!!!

If you can get the boot floor out in one the TLC would likely bite your arm off for it unless you intend to later put it back...
