My new road And occasional track day car
Re: My new track project
Watching this with close interest,
I'm amazed at the talent DF has and the quailty of the finish of work.
Makes me wish I still had my Sprint.

Your solution sucks.DF wrote:
Now i think this may have been quite a lot of air pressure in the axle and wheelarch area![]()
So to alleviate some of this pressure i have cut these ,
From the side of the car its not too obtrusive to the eye but i suppose only paint will tell .
The underneath of the car will be plated with alum

Re: My new track project
I may have a change of plan
I have been offered a ls1 engine and gbox
if the dimensions work out right
it could be a twin turbo ls7
the v8 is actually lighter than the 4pot I have

Re: My new track project
Managed to get some photos of my old knackerd lap top today
I have a couple of my prep photos of the roof for the carbon replacement
I hope i can eventually get all my photos off it as a mate is going to have a go for me ( pc expert ) so he says
I welded steal all around the roof as its a vacume mold good enough for a autoclave.

Re: My new track project
There's not going to be much of that shell I sold you left at this rate; you should have told me more about your plans and I could have sold you one that would have saved you a lot of work instead, it has holes in most of the right places already!
