Watching this with close interest,

I'm amazed at the talent DF has and the quailty of the finish of work.

Makes me wish I still had my Sprint.
2011 Mini Clubman John Cooper Works. S Daily Driver.
1980 Dolomite Sprint with a touch of BLTS
Balanced Lightened and Tweaked 13B Rotary and SsuperCharged.
Back in my possession 22 September 2019.
Rebuilding the Sprint time taken so far, 111Hrs@15/12/2020
212Hrs @31/12/2021
352 @ 28/11/2022
455Hrs @ 20/10/2023
565Hrs @ 07/12/2024
This is time taken at the Sprint not necessary time worked.

Project 13B Sprint now back on..

From the side of the car its not too obtrusive to the eye but i suppose only paint will tell .

I may have a change of plan
I have been offered a ls1 engine and gbox
if the dimensions work out right
it could be a twin turbo ls7
the v8 is actually lighter than the 4pot I have :-)

I have some very nice vents for the wings taken off a car no longer in production and Very hard to get now and they look the dogs, but they do actually work
Would that have been a Rover perchance?

Managed to get some photos of my old knackerd lap top today
I have a couple of my prep photos of the roof for the carbon replacement
I hope i can eventually get all my photos off it as a mate is going to have a go for me ( pc expert ) so he says
I welded steal all around the roof as its a vacume mold good enough for a autoclave.

I will have to post up some up to date pictures
I have been to a company that manufacture
Parts for exotic cars !!! I was supprised I was let in the workshop
Ohhh to have my own autoclave ,
I was enquiring about the carbon taniumn ( good old clarkson )
Old hat I was told been out years
I have ordered some of the new kid on the block stuff
Certainly looks different 8)

There's not going to be much of that shell I sold you left at this rate; you should have told me more about your plans and I could have sold you one that would have saved you a lot of work instead, it has holes in most of the right places already! :woohoo:
