A superlative effort chaps; well done!
One bit of constructive suggestion, with the curtain behind Ken's, as it is centrestage on the day, with the changing light incidental onto something like shot silk of lighter colour a real 3D light display might have been achieved...
Congratulations.

Awesome work on the stand guys, looks absolutely amazing.
Really sorry I didn't manage to get any drip trays, this is what was keeping me busy, 9 weeks before I anticipated it...

I had double vision recently too; a trip to the optician soon cured that!

just got home (9:00 PM Sunday), shattered, but elated!
Thank you to everyone, a list that is incredibly long, that has made the Classic Motorshow such a stunning success for the Triumph Dolomite Club.
More to follow tomorrow, but I urgently need a reviving cup of Tea!

Well done on the happy event, and the small, newly born people. A good show for the rest of you, but an even better family thing for miniman.

big welldone to all the coventry group and you all know who you are ,the effort from behind the scenes that went into this fantastic display and weekend really paid off ! from stuart picking the regalia up off me making my job alot easier! to micheal c and all his crew plus the coventry group who set up the stand ,to people who lent there cars for the weekend ,especially ken who's race car attracted so much publicity for the club ,how he never grew tired of telling people all about it i dont know ,what a great fellow, regalia was very busy all weekend and we got quite a few new members too ! the stand was a alive all weekend with people enquiring about the cars im sure bruce will have no voice today?we really enjoyed the 2 days we spent there and george behaved like a little good un while i was very busy with regalia ,looking forward to next year already jannette&danny

Congrats James, we'l let you off the drip trays
Just wanted to say a Huge thank you from all of the Coventry group to everyone who came along to support the club, to help out, bring a car or just stop by to say hello and have a cuppa!!
I can say with pride that this must of been one of the most successful events that the club have ever done, 9 new members, hundreds of £s worth of regalia cleared, at least 30 membership forms handed out (thanks Roger!!) but most off all we got loads of publicity, Practical classic, Triumph world an classic car weekly all came by and photographed the stand, hundreds of people stopping to ask questions about the club or the cars........
A personal Thank you from the Coventry group to Mikey B, Mike Miller, Pete Morris, Ken Osbourne and Bill shankland for the use of there cars over the last 3 days, Roger for coming along and working on the stand for what seemed all day but was only meant to do a few hours, and to everyone else who gave up there time to come and work the stand!!
Ill let the photos do the talking now!!....

...I do believe that is my old grille badge on the 1300 too?
Great work lads.

Re: The Classic Motorshow, NEC 11 12 13 November
Just had a nice chat with a chap who owned my Sprint many years ago, he spoke to someone on the stand who put me in touch with him

Re: The Classic Motorshow, NEC 11 12 13 November
great news james did he not twist your arm to sell then lol

Re: The Classic Motorshow, NEC 11 12 13 November
I think he'd happily buy it if I wanted to sell it
He seemed pretty chuffed to hear that it's still alive.
