This car came to Australia for the 1976 race season and was raced here for a few years. It changed hands and then after a major engine failure (and new direction for the then owner, ie v8 Commodore) it sat for over 25 years. I tried to buy the car in the early 1990's but the owner would not sell. The car was rebuilt a few years ago and when it was stripped back for painting the original silver/green paint was underneath.

An original 1974 BTCC Broadspeed built car is sitting in my garage, (in storage), it is owned by Philip (my brother). This car came to Australia in 1975. Philip has owned it since 1981. It has a massive competition history in Australia.

CURRENTLY FOR SALE.

I was bored at lunch time so put the registration for this car into the Vehicle MOT History web site and I and delighted to see it is still alive and has a current MOT. It seemed to have four years off the road for some reason. I wonder where it is?! :jump4joy:

Sadly, I also discovered that my old TR4A failed its MOT last year on quite a bit of corrosion. I wonder what will happen to that? :(
