Given that few if any of us would have the skill to do that, the repair section would need to go slightly bigger that the bits you cut out and have the flange right down to the lights....so a pretty complex curved old piece then....

Has to be worth 50 quid a side though....

I wish I could weld like that. I put a partial wheel arch repair on my transit van last year, but my welding is not very neat and there was a lot of liaising of weld to be done and a tad more P38 than I would have liked.

Your man is welcome to come and do the offside arch and lower rear doors of my van if he is short of soemthing tomthrownthe mig at, craftsmanship is what he has done, hats off to the chap

work on the sprint has been rather slow the last couple of days.

learning that the N/S wing is 10mm longer than N/S set us back a bit so a rework of certain things was required! its a long and arduous tale.

another hole. at this point we removed the eyebrow so we could prepare that for welding



such as zinc primer and punching for spotwelds



build the eyebrow back in and then give it its water trap roof back. triumph really couldnt have designed a better water collector!. i would upload a picture of the eyebrow welded in but it isnt that interesting



and finally weld it all together!




with any luck and a tail wind i will have a complete front end picture for you all tomorrow
