just spent a couple of hours reading through this build and i have 2 words totally epic, this has to be one of the most outrageous builds i have seen done to any car let alone a dolly, i rember your other sprint from rr07 i think it was and was blown away by that then so can only imagine how nice this one is gonna be, on a side note i would be very interested in one of your deeper carbon front spoilers for my tolly build if you feel like making any more to sell please drop me a pm thanks and keep up the good work

As usual your welding is art so please tell us what you get to replace the Clarke. If you're happy with whatever you get then that's all the recommendation I shall need to follow suit.

Ive done a little more today,
i popped over to custom cages to get a couple of these for a dia bar which
goes in front of the fuel tank ,
Ive had to make a removable bar to aid fuel tank removal for pump service,
Image
Bar in

Image
Also did a bit of work on the rear radiator install
Put a frame in,
Image
Image
I then made a air feed box
ImageImage

Image
Which will be fed by two BIG pipes,
I have calculated the area of the rad and if the scoops either side of the car flow the air i should have
enough cooling
Image
I then started to take a mold
I havnt bothered to paint the air box before molding,
Image
I also picked a new mig welder up
Its a shop second which has a scratch on it so it was £100 cheaper

Forgive my ignorance (if it is) but would it not be better to taper these ducts in towards the rear to encourage the air to turn the corner?

Have to admit, that was my first thought too.
1978 Twilight Purple Dolomite 1850HL The Lolomite.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.

The photos don't show it but they are tapered,
They are in 2 parts there is an inner section
I wanted to keep the outside flat as I think the angled outer wouldn't
Look right
All will be revealed when I've made the part in cf ,
