Camber on my sprint

#1 Post by 73sprint »

Hi all. Is it ok that a sprint can handle ok with no camber shims or maybe just one each side ? I have one drivers side with a little positive camber and two near side with definite positive camber. The car is standard ride height and springs etc. :?:

Should have 2 each side with a std ride height

If you need to remove one - as the camber on each side is different something is up !

Check the bottom arm inner bushes (the toes jointed ones) - most probably these are worn and causing the camber issues

If you have positive camber, you need to remove shims to correct this.

I have removed one shim on the drivers side and gone for a run, the wheel seems pretty level now and this is with no shims. Wil remove the others from the near side and see if that side is sorted. Thanks for your replies.

I Just make the camber regulation with the help of my Tyre Shop's electronic instrument:

Driver Side:

-1.03 Degrees (2 Shims)

Passenger Side:

-0.92 Degrees (3 Shims)

Please note: LHD car with 1" lowered ride hight Springs
