Yes, I am -- however, my sprint hasn't done a lot of miles with it (one illegal trip only)...
Mounting it needs a bit of customization to make it fit: shortening one section a bit, adding mount points.

Re: Outlaw Dolomite Sprint
I've been a bit lazy on the updates lately. But I thought we where almost finished after installing the new exhaust. But now it appears the head I bought via eBay is not as solid I thought. The holes for what we call tappet buses (?) are worn out, which makes the buses tilt slightly. So we decided to prepare a new head ourselves (luckily I had one on spare). Since saturday is the first show, we are hurrying to get it ready for then...

It was hard working, but we managed to get it up and running once again... https://vimeo.com/125901921
Re: Outlaw Dolomite Sprint
After several problems with the engine and a damaged cylinderhead and engine after one of the valves came loose, I made a hard decision: replacing the engine with something else. It had to be a reliable 2.0 16v, so I ended up with a RS2000 16v from Ford. We picked up the engine this morning, in the next few months we'll be working on fitting in the engine.

Interesting, what gearbox are you planning on using?

Theoretically it would be possible to fit the original gearbox, but I'm planning on using the Sierra MT75 5-speed gearboxtony g wrote:Interesting, what gearbox are you planning on using?
