So that's where all the get up and go had got up and gone!

The 16v Slant 4 engine is more fun than the 3.5 V8, because you mostly drive it on the upslope of the torque curve.

Factory 1977 TR7 Sprint FHC VVC 697S (Now all of, but still needs putting together)
B&Y 73 Dolomite Sprint UVB 274M (kids!)
1970 Maroon 13/60 Herald Convertable (wife's fun car).

The usual drop in performance for a sprint is the bulkhead cracking/rusting beneath the throttle pedal bracket which allows it to bend and fail at giving full throttle.
track action maniac.

The lunatic is out................heres Jonny!

I wondered what the post actually meant..but makes sense if you are referring to the bit of the outer sheathing that is showing?

As a side, are there any instructions as to how to fit the cable?

Is the end that fits up to the bulkhead supposed to be free (i.e not captive)? Which side do you feed the cable into the engine bay from? Im assuming engine bay into the cabin and hook it over the pedal?

Sorry for the hijack, but relevant if Graham is fitting a new cable perhaps?

Thanks

Yes its just a push fit in from the engine pay side and hook over the pedal. Dont loose the clip...
