Re: Grp wings
Are you using the club made wings? I have fitted 3 sets of these now without any problems at all. There are a couple of pics, admittedly not very informative, in my thread "Carledo's way" in the resto section. If you have the older (Smith and Deakin?) wings I can't help much as have not tried them. But by reputation they are a very poor fit! I secure mine to the car with self drilling tapping bolts, this lets you remove and refit the wing numerous times till you are happy with the fit. once you have achieved the fit you want, take it off, coat all mating surfaces with Tiger Seal and refit with the screws to keep it tight. This will be permanent, you can even remove some or all of the screws at a later date once the Tiger Seal has set properly. I left my screws in cos I am a belt and braces kind of guy!

Re: Grp wings
Hi Rich, Here are some piccys of how my OSF Club fibreglass wing fits on my 1850.
The fixings to the inner wing are MGB lower wing ones with Tigaseal (sp?) bonding all round.
Derek ( Autonet7 on here ) made an excellent job of fitting mine.
HTH,
Tony.
