The 1850 uses the same engine mount as the 1300 and 1500, it most certainly does not share it's mount with the slightly more powerful V8 Stag.

Not uncommon to have an engine stabiliser mount, more so on performance engines, i.e my Golf GTi had one.

Stag mount looks very similar to the GT6 one.

You're not wrong Steve, a much larger market for those as its not only used on the Stag and GT6 but also on TR8, TR6, TR5, Vitesse, Rover SD1, Morgan, TVR...

It does not.

Whilst an 1850 mount may appear to look like an OHV mount, it is not the same, being much softer.
