12 so far James, plus your own prototype, AMAZING!

Sorry you won't be selling me one, but Vauxhll engines don't go wrong often enough to need one! (insert "smug" smiley here)

Blimey, I'd better up production then! :D

I'm going to bring the prototype to Stoneleigh so people can have a look at it.

perhaps you could find some 15 year old design technology students and sell them the idea of production engineering.

I've been evaluating James' prototype as I am in the middle of an engine rebuild myself. Why didn't I make one of these years ago?

It does exactly what it says on the tin. It's much more stable, especially when you have the head on as well, and it means you can get to the rear crankshaft oil seal plate. It also allows you to bolt on the flywheel, clutch and adaptor plates. It makes it a bit more difficult if you're painting the block but the pros far outweigh the cons.

James, you need to get cracking!

I like the neat bit of wire locking on the timing gear in the last picture.

James, any news on the adapters yet?
I have just put a "new" Sprint engine on the stand but not happy with mounting it on the flywheel end.
