I have had search through my collection of stuff I never throw away even though some part of it is faulty and I have found my two old piranha kits, but along with them is a piranha module box no trigger part though. This is something I picked up at a Cornwall car boot in a collection of old car bits. You are more than welcome to all the bits and you could try this module you never know it might solve the problem and save you some money. I will never use any of it and this car boot module might be ok but I don't know.
Thank's Ron but i think i have solved the problem
, i have the same set up as Geoff ( taller cap and leads ) but when mine where supplied it did not arrive with the taller Red rotor arm so i used the original sprint one
, i have just checked the taller cap and there is no burning on the posts ( cap is like new still after two years ) or any wear on the carbon, comparing the original Sprint cap and the taller one there is quite a difference in height between the carbons and the posts, so although the car starts and runs ( got me back 220 miles from Steve Carledo's ok like this
) i need the taller rotor or revert back to a standard set up , going to call Simon bbc on Monday and hopefully i can just order the rotor, also after doing one job i came across another in the heater pipes are all fubared and need replacing ( anyone know the best place to get them ? ) Thanks for all the replies and once i get a new Rotor i will update this thread
