Door Bottom

[new to this]

On My passenger front door the bottom has rusted away, while im repairing it the channel that holds the door seal is also missing, any one know where i can buy that channel ?

Chris Witor sells lengths of steel channel for the triumph 2000 range which I think is the same as the Dolomite range, probably worth a call to confirm if no luck elsewhere:

Thanks for the replies ordered some from Chris Witor ? just got to finish the rust repair on the door, done one half, the hardest bit is the corners so meany different shapes

Thats what I'm going to do, plus I'm fitting more and better drainage holes in the door

Once done give the inside a good coating of Bilt Hamber Dynax to stop the rust getting hold again

If that's the Dynax S50 you are referring to, it's brilliant stuff. I used it inside some box sections on our horsebox that I had repaired, there were quite a lot of plug welded flange joints, and it's so liquid that it crept into all of them. However, once dried it sets quite firm and is very durable.

Yes Dynax S50, I also use SC (which is nearly clear) on outer sections e.g. engine bay. It was recommended to me by an engineer who worked on North Sea oil rigs. Ferrosol is also far better than WD40 and very effective on alloy parts....
