why are you censoring it then andy? and guiding people off this thread..

why can't the story be told now?

Simple Andy doesn't know all the detail's as yet.

(I DO)

All will come clear later on,

Rest assured it will not be a water feature on Top Gear again.

Regards fixing cars when they get broken on the track, the reasonably priced car belongs to Chevrolet as I have driven it and I asked. If TG bend in Chevrolet pay for it! Don;t know how it works with the other cars mind you. Certainly if you borrow a press car it is insured by the manufacturer[/quote]

It seems to me this poster is what used to be known on newsgroups as a troll.

I dont care if he owns a dolomite or not. I suggest from now on whenever he posts we completely ignore him.

This was always the most effective technique. Dont rise to the bait and he will soon get bored and go away.

Note from Admin: sadly Jon passed away in February 2018 but his humour and wealth of knowledge will be fondly remembered by all. RIP Jonners.

It was not me.

Kev, you were too kind.

What a start dude, you equal someone else on here for wind ups. I for one would not being giving you any help with all that "tude"

I had many texts and insults over the show at work, from family and friends....

It was all, as has been said a set up, just like the Veyron being a smidjin behind the Typhoon at work.....

I enjoyed the show and it's tongue in cheek presentation, so much so, I filled my Dolly with water and drove to work this week to emulate my motoring heroes.

Was slightly irritated by the Hamster smashing the door of the Dolly against the Princess.

If he ever comes back to my place of work, and I happen across him whilst having a smoke, I will say.

"HAMMOND, NO! WHILST I ENJOY YOUR BOYISH HUMOUR AND YOUR OBVIOUS TASTE OF CLASSIC CARS (He used to own a Manta...!) YOU DONT SLAM YOUR CAR DOOR AGAINST ANOTHER AS IF YOU WERE AT THE LOCAL SUPERMARKET!"

Obviously with my best Harry Enfield voice....

We watched the BL program, o'dear I have been unable to post as I was speechless.
One of my friends said "Did you see the triumph on tv last night HA HA HA."
But thinking about it for a week now,it was not meant to be serious, filling a car up with water?
It was a setup, doors falling off?
Mine you some of the things that fell off the Sodomite were believable.
Throttle cable could happen any time.I dont think he put the handbrake on.
Maybe with the passing of time you think the same.
