I'm half way through changing my unidirectional clutch on the od but I've forgotten how the gearbox mount goes back together.
I can't find a picture of the correct type anywhere and it doesn't make logical sense to me.
Does anyone have the diagram picture or at least a photo?

Yes but the rubber bit looks like its upside down. The indentations go underneath to stop the clamping dished plate rotating.

Ah ! Now that mount looks like the solid one that has been giving some people grief with noise and vibration from a recent thread.vraksianrebel wrote:I'm half way through changing my unidirectional clutch on the od but I've forgotten how the gearbox mount goes back together.

Have a read of this link plus the associated Restoration thread. I think the 1850 mount is the same as the Sprint one.

Re: 1850 O/D gearbox mount
Thank you all so much. That was the perfect picture to work out what I needed. I suspect the mount will be fairly rubbish as the rimmer spec rubber seems to be all wrong but it'll keep me motoring for the time being. I shall look into the modification once I get home from the holidays.
But the unidirectional clutch is changed and its all back together and running nicely. Fingers crossed it will stop the clutch slip I've been experiencing

The cone clutch is a more likely culprit if you have a slipping overdrive.
Was the one way clutch obviously worn?
