Pictures of a Saab 9-3 radiator fitment

#1 Post by storeyn »

Does any one have any pictures of a Saab 9-3 radiator installation in a sprint I have one to fit. The old threads on the forum have the pictures links missing

Thanks

I have a civic radiator fitted and I'm just down the road in Newton Abbot. I can't upload pictures here but can to an email or Whatsapp.

Current fleet: '75 Sprint, '73 1850, Daihatsu Fourtrak, Honda CG125, Yamaha Fazer 600, Shetland 570 (yes it's a boat!)

Past fleet: Triumph 2000, Lancia Beta Coupe, BL Mini Clubman, Austin Metro, Vauxhall Cavalier MK1 & MK2, Renault 18 D, Rover 216 GSI, Honda Accord (most expensive car purchase, hated, made out of magnetic metal as only car I've ever been crashed into...4 times), BMW 318, Golf GTi MK3 16v x 3

Haha, that's SuperAl's work...bit of a genius on the quiet!

More to follow...

A lot of my build pictures are on my photobucket site which I am struggling to download. I'll keep putting some on here as I manage to get them off!

Didn't get any leaks really but struggled with air locks!

It's so far over to the left as I'm putting an oil cooler in in the gap.

Come and see some pretty shoddy, slow driving of a really well prepared competition Sprint here!

Pretty much how I did it, allas my fitting looks like it was done by a drunken ape compared to the engineering marvel in those photos. You will need an adapter for the small top hose and I used the standard expansion bottle, but it does seem to work.

Biggest challenge was defeating all the leaks on the system when I got it together.
