Door card off and nothing broken and all clips in place, Wd40 next to see if that helps

Re: Drivers door lock issue
Be careful with WD-40, it isn't really designed as lubricant, it is as the name suggests a water displacer and cleaner. The fact it lubricates is more of a side effect.
So it will work sort term but it won't persist and you will be back to square one. I know from locks they generally use a dry lubricant, something like graphite, to stop crud building up.
Re: Drivers door lock issue
Gonna clean with Wd40 and then find a suitable lubricant
if the Wd40 works
if the Wd40 works

Re: Drivers door lock issue
What needs lubrication is the area around the two overlapping plates with a crescent shaped hole...
Re: Drivers door lock issue
Lubricated ( including overlapping plates ) and still no good, swapped for another lock and all good
, thanks for all your replies
