Does length of the prop shaft on the Sprint differ with and without overdrive, like on the small chassis cars? And what length is the overdrive one, 50"?

Sprint propshaft length?
The 16v Slant 4 engine is more fun than the 3.5 V8, because you mostly drive it on the upslope of the torque curve.

Re: Sprint propshaft length?
Manual non-O/D and O/D Sprint props are the same length. Only the Automatic one is different (an inch or two shorter) 50" is right for a manual car IIRC.GrahamFountain wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 11:21 am Does length of the prop shaft on the Sprint differ with and without overdrive, like on the small chassis cars? Re: Sprint propshaft length?
Isn't the auto prop longer; the auto' 'box being slightly shorter than the manual and no adaptor plate being used?Carledo wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 4:27 pmManual non-O/D and O/D Sprint props are the same length. Re: Automatic Sprint propshaft length?
Just for the record the Sprint Automatic propshaft is just over 55inches (1.40m). Geoff
