Wishbones
Daft question. Is there a technique for replacing the wishbone?
Assuming that I whack it with a hammer, wondered if that was wise.

How do I remove the lower wishbone from the steering arm? Removed the nut securing the two parts together, but still not clear how the wishbone comes off.
Seized bolts
Trying to remove the front wishbones to replace the bushes but hampered by a couple of seized bolts. Have tried spraying wd40 & leaving overnight, but not worked. Would appreciate any advice ie good known penetrating oils or any other methods for easing these bolts loose.
Had a slight problem today, got a flat. Strange thing was I had just gone & put pressure in all the tyres about half hour before it happened, as one of my wheels continuously leaks air & always need topping up.
Clutch problems (judder)
Problem: My car judders when engaging in first or reverse gears. It is fine once moving & all other gear changes including overdrive are fine. I assume there is something wrong with the clutch, but not sure exactly what or were to start looking.
problem at idle
After a closer look I found that the throttle cable, choke cable & carbs are fine. The throttle cable links to a bevel type device just below & in between the carbs. This bevel device is loose, not lining up straight & doesn't return fully when the throttle pedal is released. Is there any way of ...

Problem at idle
If I start the car up & leave it running in the garage until it is warmed up, it happily idles & stays at 1000 revs
Once out on the road after a few miles, every time I de-clutch or stop the engine idles at around 2000 revs. A quick blast on the accelerator will knock the car down to 1000 ...

Oil leak problem
I have a major oil leak from the gearbox on my sprint. A gasket or seal probably needs replacing, & the car gudders in first gear, so I assume some of the oil has leaked onto the clutch.

Has anybody experience of resolving this problem & how much would I expect a garage to charge me ?
