im confused now!!!

ok driving to wotk after dinner and i flicked my swich praying to god it worked (which i have done every 5 minutes of driving) and it did.<br>
i topped it up with oil and did 20 odd mile to test it but no luck last night.<br>
the only possible explanation i can think of is that there was an airlock ...

i have topped up the oil and still no overdrive.<br>
i brung my multimeter home from work but the i fogot to charge it up today and its dead so i will have to wait until tomorrow.<br>
if it is an electrical problem will it hard the car at all driving it around???

not yet. i will bring my multimeter home from work 2morro and give it a bash.<br>
i have only been without it a day but i miss it already.<br>
i didn't think i used it that much.<br>
when i was reading the manual it was saying do not under any circumstance reverse in overdrive.<br>
why is this???<br ...

cheers for the advise.<br>
i have checked all connections in the engine bay and they seem fine.<br>
i also took the gear stick out and checked them and there ok too.<br>
i haven't checked the oil yet but when you mentioned it i have noticed dome noise in the last couple of days leading up to it.<br ...

overdrive problems

when driving home from the workshop 2day i noticed the overdrive was not working.<br>
where can i find the wires concerned with this and what other things can i check?<br>
i changed my points up the workshop and im not sure if i knocked something or pulled something.<br>
please help.<br>

i get this problem while driving around at normal speeds but when i wheelspin i gets really bad.<br>
i found it was the exhaust hitting the diff so i would say, get the back end in the air and check how close they are on yours.<br>

i was always told that if the pin comes out you should put an old exhaust valve in. its the perfect size and its got a lip on it!!!<br>

i had the same problem whhen i changed my wheel cylinder.<br>
i found that the cog didn't fit in the cylinder properly.<br>
i also found that if the shoes are not properly in place, the arm will pop off.<br>
make sure the cog sits in place and turns smoothly and also make sure the shoes are settled ...

the running to rich sounds quite a good idea because she is running a bit to rich so i will have a bash at that in the morning.when doing the mixture levels do i screw the screws in or out??? i can't remember???
