Lean mixture could certainly cause overheating and seems likely given recent carb change.<br>

However, are you sure the gauge is reading right? If you've disturbed the sender or something whilst doing the work, perhaps the fan is actually kicking in now at 1/4 and it's not actually overheating ...

Was it a brand new Magnetronic kit? Only reason I ask is that my Sprint was fitted with one and after a while it just stopped running. We eventually found that the wires from the sensor inside the dizzy had rested against something hot and just melted through so they shorted out. Replaced it with ...

I was a bit sceptical as to how good a match the paint would be - basically the computer tells the operator how much of each colour to add to the mix based on weight. There were figures of 72.8g showing on the screen - I'm not sure how accurately a poorly-trained Hellfrauds monkey would actually ...

It was me. Halfords can mix to any paint colour - they just searched for Mimosa on the computer and the codes matched up what I had. <br>
