Re: New Project VA485 - RPJ 7L
Looking very good Tony. How has the new loom fitted Tony. I have fitted old looms back in and hated it because they loose the suppleness , I always worried about rubbing on the metal bulkhead clips and anywhere else around the car to be honest. I know the looms on dollys are nothing like a modern ...

Re: 1975 1500TC – Anti roll bars
Glad you sorted it out. I ran a TC for a number of years and when I fitted the front antiroll bar it was transformed also. Yours has a nice stance , it would be a shame to lower it as I personally do not think it is a good look. I understand now you are looking for more power. I will be watching All ...

Re: 1975 1500TC – Anti roll bars
I don't want to tell you how to suck eggs but the spacers on antiroll bar go inbetween the channel on the tie bar thus bringing the end of the tie bar down, somebody else might be able to post a picture,

Re: Sprint subframe - do I need a new one?
I have a measurement of 585mm between the inner of the two suspension brackets if that makes any sense. They just sit below the bottom of the subframe . Hope that helps and makes some sense.

Re: Sprint subframe - do I need a new one?
I had corrosion problems on this area on my subframe but because I was in the middle of a rebuild I obtained a solid used frame. The lower bolt on mine would not tighten fully causing alarming handling, inside the box section on mine was a triangular piece of steel to stop the box from collapsing ...

Re: A round of applause required, please...
Returned from Cornwall today under Dolly power thanks to Alun for putting me in touch with a truly top man by the name of Carl Shakespear. Thank you so much Carl for the transfer housing and cleaning the engine oil from the brakes. I will post the housing and your pressure switch back to you as soon ...

Re: Mustard
Are your bushes Floflex by any chance. I managed to fit the front upper wishbone ones on my car only after I filed out the metal insert. I fitted some on the rear axle tie bars and although it improved the handling I could not stand the extra noise inside the car.

Re: Electronic ignition
I have had search through my collection of stuff I never throw away even though some part of it is faulty and I have found my two old piranha kits, but along with them is a piranha module box no trigger part though. This is something I picked up at a Cornwall car boot in a collection of old car bits ...

Re: Electronic ignition
I have gone through 2 piranha or the newtronic optical systems with both doing about 50.000 miles each , the first one either had a spark or not. When it was running it was perfect then switch engine off suddenly no spark then when it started again perfect until you switched the engine off . The ...
