Anybody any idea where I might get a right hand upper mudsheild, XKC 1308?

The 16v Slant 4 engine is more fun than the 3.5 V8, because you mostly drive it on the upslope of the torque curve.

Factory 1977 TR7 Sprint FHC VVC 697S (Now all of, but still needs putting together)

I think to be certain which one you need it would be better to state if it is the nearside or offside of the car as right and left depends on which way you are looking at the car

Nearside or offside depends on whether it's a RHD or LHD car, something Brits often forget! RHS or LHS has no such inconsistency as it's always stated as seen from the drivers seat looking forward and that doesn't vary!

Left/ right is and has always been as viewed from the drivers seat looking in direction of travel.

What price inc P&P for a pair of the rear top ones - I have the left one but it's got a cut where the old wing was cut off.

Came to fit the upper rear mudshields Alun sent me, and found out why there was only one with the car: there are no fixing holes on the LH side of the car.

Worse, there's no chance I'll get my drill in there to make some.
Doesn't look like the hot glue gun's an option either. If only I'd know about it when the wing was off.

By LH I mean the drivers side.
But that's because it's a Left Hand Drive car.
According to an O.U. programme I watched many moons ago, left and right are a bit hard to differentiate without a preexisting shared reference.
But I only watched it cos there were nowt else on - I weren't one of them O.U. Pretty Things Bowie sung about.

I can drill the front hole with an angled drive, but the back one's too tight.
I think I can bolt a poundlands best, right angle bracket to the back of the shield, and get to the inner wing side of underneath the strengthener to screw a stainless no 8 self tapper in there. Maybe I can do that for both ends, and I don't need the right angle drive. If I use a countersunk bolt betwixt shield and bracket, that'll move the shield right by the thickness of the bracket alone. About 2mm. I think that'll be okay.

Well I finally got the damned thing on: when I came to fit the steel plates at the back of the wheel arch, they needed a bit of work first. I did it with the right angle brackets, though I ended up using No. 14 self tappers with 10mm af heads.
