Funny - I asked exactly this question of Malc at TDCIR as I need a set for the rear end of my 1500TC.<br>

Rimmers price for a rear axle set (trailing arms and tie bars) is over sixty quid, and I was baulking at that on a car that only cost me £60 in the first place.<br>

Bilt Hamber caqme top in the Practical Classics test as I recall. It is dearer than other similar preparations though.

Apart from getting up at 5 am (having come in from my mates party just before 3 am) and battling with the M25 (closed for maintenance on the way out, closed for accident on the way back) the entire day was superb.<br>

Bluecol was the original Triumph/BL recommended product (according to my owners handbook). <br>

Lewis - the external feed kit is a doddle to fit, it should take no more than 5 minutes (literally). If you wish to run an oil pressure gauge and warning lamp you will need a T piece. These are also available from Moss, or Europa or Demon Tweeks etc.<br>

It has been said before, but if you go with the conversion to Volvo 740 radiator as some have done, you can get the 740 Turbo rad which has a very neat and effective oil cooler built in. You just have to use the Volvo unions as from memory they are a unique thread.<br>
